Product Description
This product is a water-based release agent designed for integral skin polyurethane, automotive headliners, and various thermoformed components. It ensures easy demolding of complex-shaped parts without tearing or residue. In self-skinning processes, it promotes the formation of a dense, smooth skin on foam surfaces. When used for hot-press lamination of automotive headliners, it offers excellent heat resistance, prevents transfer, and avoids fabric staining. As a water-based system, it is environmentally friendly and non-flammable, effectively reducing buildup while enhancing continuous production efficiency.
Composition: Aqueous emulsion of polysiloxane.

• Fully water-based release agent without solvents.
• Excellent release performance even in parts of the mold that are more difficult to release.
• Multiple releases can be achieved during hot press mold release, with a maximum temperature resistance of 150~200°C.
|
|
Dilute the product
• Dilute the concentrated product with water at the specified ratio, stirring thoroughly until the mixture is uniform and free of lumps. The actual dilution ratio should be determined based on site-specific process requirements, following the principle of "high-to-low" — i.e., starting with a higher concentration and gradually increasing dilution until the desired performance and cost-effectiveness are balanced.
Mold cleaning
• Clean the mold surface to remove oil, dust, and other contaminants. Preheating the mold is optional, depending on the material and working conditions.
Spraying / Painting
• Using a spray gun, apply the release agent evenly over the mold surface, ensuring full coverage without localized over-application. Adjust the air pressure to achieve proper atomization, allowing the agent to reach all areas and facilitate drying.
Standing and drying
• Allow the coated mold to stand until the solvent (water) has completely evaporated.
Demolding and subsequent processing
• After demolding (e.g., in injection molding or die casting), clean the mold as needed. For subsequent cycles, repeat the spraying procedure described above.
|
|
Safety protection
• Wear rubber gloves, goggles and mask during operation to avoid direct contact of skin and eyes with the mold release agent.
• Keep the working place well ventilated and away from open fire, high temperature sources and incompatible substances (e.g. oxidizing agents, strong acids and alkalis, etc.).
Mold management
• The high temperature of the mold may cause the mold release agent to evaporate too quickly, and it is recommended to control it within a reasonable range.
• When the mold is not used for a long time, it is necessary to clean the surface of the mold.
Usage matters
• Do not mix with other types/brands of release agents to prevent chemical reaction and failure.
• Stir the mold release agent well before use, and stir it regularly during use to avoid using it in a stratified condition.
|
|
Storage conditions
• Keep tightly closed in a cool dry place, do not store outdoors, avoid direct sunlight.
• Avoid freezing to prevent irreversible deterioration. Always keep the temperature above 15℃ before use.
• Keep away from heat sources, fire sources and acidic and alkaline substances.
• Avoid high temperature (>40℃) or low temperature (<-10℃) environment.
• The transportation process should follow the precautionary measures for the relevant chemicals.
Duration of use
• Store in the original sealed container for 6 months, keeping the temperature between 15~30℃.
Waste disposal
• Waste liquid should be disposed of according to local regulations, do not dump.
