Silicone Surfactant for High-Resilience Polyurethane Molded Foam

• KPU-S4202 is a specialized silicone surfactant characterized by low VOC emissions, low fogging value, and minimal odor, specifically formulated for polyurethane high-resilience molded foam. It is designed primarily for TDI systems and TDI-dominated TDI/MDI hybrid foaming systems, suitable for producing high-resilience foam with a density range of 28–60 kg/m³.
• In other T/M systems, it can be used in combination with KPU-S4303 and is also applicable to low-density foam formulations containing high levels of polymer polyols.

• Exhibits low emissions, low odor, low VOC content, and low fogging values.
• Provides excellent foam stability, resulting in a fine and uniform foam skin.
• Helps prevent common foam defects such as subsurface voids and coarse cell structure.
• Offers a wide processing latitude, making it suitable for use across a range of TDI indices.

• All components should be stirred thoroughly to ensure homogeneity before being added to the polyol blend. Owing to its excellent emulsifying properties, KPU-S4202 is highly effective; however, small-scale trials are recommended for formulations with varying densities to determine the optimal parameters for achieving the best possible foam formation.
• Although this product is non-toxic, appropriate protective measures must be implemented in accordance with national labor, health, and safety regulations.
• The product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture. Once the container is opened, ensure the lid is tightly sealed during subsequent storage to preserve product integrity.
