PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

 A-1 is an industry-standard foaming catalyst. Widely used in all types of foam production, especially for difficult-to-process flexible foams requiring highly breathable structures. 

 Primarily used in polyurethane foam formulations, especially for producing high-resilience, semi-rigid and low-density foams. Strong catalytic effect on water reduces foam density. Contributes ~80% to gas-forming reactions and ~20% to gel reactions.

 High activity with low dosage; adjusting concentration controls foaming rise and gel time. Synergy with organotin catalysts significantly improves production tolerance, preventing quality issues from operational/measurement errors.

 

MAIN PROPERTIES

 Strong catalysis on water/isocyanate balances polyol-isocyanate reactions.

 Dosage adjustment controls foaming rise/cure time without affecting tin catalyst range.

 Minimizes density gradient in foam blocks and compression set of molded foams.

PRECAUTIONS

 Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for ≥15 min. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

 Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water for ≥15 min. Clean clothes/shoes before reuse. Seek medical attention if needed.

 Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Keep warm and rest. Administer artificial respiration/oxygen by trained personnel if breathing stops. Seek immediate medical attention.

 Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention. Never abandon unconscious patients.

 

STORAGE AND VALIDITY

 Store in the original sealed container for 24 months. The optimum storage temperature for the product is between 10~30℃. Avoid direct sunlight.

 It is recommended that catalyst containers be stored in a dry, cool area with proper ventilation. Keep away from incompatible substances. Each container must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture contamination and other adverse effects which may alter the performance of the product in end use. Follow common chemical precautions during transportation.
